Chang Jung Christian University is a private university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan. The main campus is located in Guiren, Tainan close to the historic town of Tainan and the southern metropolis Kaohsiung. The University provides a pleasant, secure environment with top-quality facilities, such as the new five-story David Landsborough Memorial Library. The 27-hectare campus was planned by experts to provide the best possible environment for study and personal growth. It is easily accessible from Taiwan’s urban centers and yet removed from urban hustle and bustle.
The Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Studies at Chang Jung Christian University is dedicated to research and teaching into all of Taiwan’s culture from a historical and contemporary perspective. The Taiwan Studies Program (a two year program) offers a wide range of multidisciplinary courses on Taiwan leading toward a Master’s degree. The full curriculum  includes courses on Taiwan's history, culture, politics, society and religion (for language requirements, please contact our staff) .
